Paris Photo 15-18 November 2007

It's not that far away and its different from the London version. It's a must do event.

Paris Photo is organizing its eleventh edition determined to maintain its standards of excellence and its support for photography in all its diversity. From November 15th through November 18th, 2007 it will bring together some hundred galleries and publishers from the world over.With its exhibitions, book signings, prize award ceremonies and lectures, during those five days Paris Photo will be the eye of the world.'

PMA - Photo Market Association

David Lane, Managing Director of The Vault will be visiting the PMA conference in Birmingham 9-10th October 2007. The PMA, Photo Marketing Association, is a professional trade association which aims to 'help the worldwide photo imaging community achieve business success and adapt to new technologies'. All the key players, Fuji, Kodak, Epsom will have their wares on show.

Vision 2007. November 8, 2007 - The Bridge, London

The British Journal of Photography's annual one day event for all aspiring and pro photographers.
Exhibitors at Vision 2007 will collaborate with BJP to provide a wide range of free seminars, lectures, workshops and portfolio clinics. Visitors will also have the opportunity to hear successful photographers discuss their work and success.

There is a portfolio clinic with approximately 300 allocated spots - 10-15min each. Has to be booked before the show.

Exhibitors include Magum Photos, Fuji Professional, Photographers Gallery, Association of Photographers.

Photo London 2007

Photo London 2007 opens 31st May 2007 and is a must for photographers who want to find out whats happening in the world of contemporary photography. It's a chance to meet gallery owners and photographic organisations. Photo-london was taken over by Reed Exhibitions, owner and organiser of Paris Photo, now regarded as the most important photography fair in the world.

The management claims that Photo-London 'will now focus exclusively on contemporary photography since 1970. It aims to show the diversity of subjects, concepts, styles and techniques explored by photo-based artists from documentary work to conceptual art photography, as well as image combined with media such as audio, video, and installation. photo-london will provide a unique platform to highlight the latest international trends and expressions available in the medium of photography'.
